Movie poster/fauxster for a film based on the Image Comics series "The Maxx" created by Sam Keith. I was a huge fan of the series when it was animated for MTV's "Oddities" (one of the few shows that was actually tolerable to watch on that network).
What's interesting about the cartoon was it was mostly based directly on the comic panel for panel, which rarely happens. If this movie were to ever get made, I would like to see that tradition continue (maybe someone like Robert Rodriguez, Zach Snyder or Frank Miller could direct?)
I used what I thought was my dream cast/crew, but it turns out I wasn't the only one who thought this! This film should be made... but I doubt it ever will. Sigh.

Great layout. And...I Agree. The Maxx would make a great movie. With the vast range of emotion the story includes it could spark a review that would even attract people who don't normally read comic books. If the production team gets it right anyway.
I've been a fan of The Maxx since before I even learned where babies come from. So of course I would be ecstatic if he made it to the big screen.
